Le Cantou, authenticity and period charm for two in the Manor house

Le Cantou is located on the first floor of the Manor. It is the original dwelling of the property, with a beautiful air-conditioned living room with an authentic Perigordian fireplace, called a "Cantou", and an adjoining bedroom. It retains the charm of the late XIXth century, with an old wooden door, high ceilings, large windows overlooking the park and the fountain, and golden Perigord stone walls. It stays cool in the summer inside the thick stone walls. In chilly weather, the stove makes it cosy. Le Cantou is the only gîte on the property open year round.

Since the renovation in 2020, the kitchen and shower room are modern and very well equipped. For stays of 2 to 6 nights except in July-August, Le Cantou is also offered as a guest suite, including a delicious breakfast basket delivered each morning, made of home-made, local or organic products.

For dreamy nights in this peaceful haven, the high quality bed with a memory-foam mattress is dressed with linen sheets from Normandy. The excellent soundproofing and the quietness of the park promise you a restful sleep. Bath and pool towels are provided.

The guests of Le Cantou have access to a private shaded terrace a few steps from the entrance, with deckchairs, theirs to enjoy an outdoor dinner with a barbecue. They can also enjoy a drink on a small table near the door, in the main courtyard.
