Tucked away at the rear of the property, on the upper floor of the former stone barn, Le Bois is a charming holiday cottage in Dordogne most appreciated for its exceptional peace and natural surroundings. Sheltered from view by the traditional stone turret with its lauze roof and the old open-sided shelter, it offers a discreet and cozy atmosphere, ideal for guests seeking tranquility.
This single-level accommodation, both spacious and light-filled, features a carefully designed living area combining comfort and elegance. The lounge includes a comfortable leather sofa, a large Smart TV for relaxed evenings, and a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing leisurely holiday meals. A wood-burning stove adds warmth and character on cooler evenings.
The two air-conditioned bedrooms, furnished with high-quality beds, offer restful views over the property or the surrounding countryside, ensuring peaceful nights after days spent exploring the Dordogne.
Facing east, the private terrace overlooks the wooded area above the park and enjoys a pleasant natural coolness in the afternoon, particularly welcome during the summer months. A small, discreet staircase hidden among the greenery leads down to the shared swimming pool, inviting moments of relaxation in a calm and unspoilt setting.
Le Bois also provides a covered bicycle shelter (open and not secured) with an electric power point, a practical feature for guests keen to explore the Périgord Noir by bike.
To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the estate, please note that most guests at Le Petit Manoir are couples looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. We kindly ask families with young children to respect the tranquility of the property, around the pool and indoors, especially between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am.

Arrival / Departure : check-in starts at 5pm, check-out before 9:30 am.
Payment and cancellation terms:
- 30% deposit due upon booking, refundable up to 60 days prior to arrival after deduction of a €50 transaction fee.
- Balance of rent due 1 month before arrival and non-refundable.
- These deadlines are extended by 30 days for bookings of 14 nights or more.
- Cancellation insurance is available online and can be selected at the time of booking.
House rules:
- Access to the swimming pool: children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Pets are not allowed on the property or in the rentals.
- The property does not have a charging station for electric vehicles, and charging a car from a domestic socket is strictly prohibited due to the risk of fire.
- Tenants are kindly asked to avoid making noise between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., both indoors and outdoors.
- The capacity of each accommodation must be respected for insurance reasons. For everyone's safety, no additional occupants will be accepted, including babies or young children. The presence of an additional occupant upon arrival will result in the cancellation of the booking and all sums paid will be retained by the owner.
